Wert - Mod or Tech (Pending)

Well, if sei7eins was ugly, would anyone go to it?

Think about it, all successful sites are sexy, I can't name a single successful yet ugly forum, can you?

I know you put a lot of effort into your site, it just doesn't have that "MPH" that makes people like it and stick to it.

I mean, look at my forum. People came because, and Silver Antari even said it to me, "the colours are nice".

Green is nice, but baby green is yuck. Seriously, think about it.

The old halomods was ugly as hell and that was one of the world's most vibrant halo communities. The look of a site has very little to do with how successful it is.

And the baby green was the only green I could get to match with the dark green border of the forum and still have a visible matching text.

And its all a matter of opinion anyway! And the overall theme of my old, dead forum IS NOT THE POINT OF THIS TOPIC <_< .

..... I didn't think it was ugly. It wasn't sexy, but wasn't ugly. It's colour scheme was pretty good, but they also had TUTORIALS. HELP CENTERS. 90% of the internet is wannabe noobs, and tutorials and all that stuff get them at their best.

Anyway, I'd just like to say I'm still considering making you tech, although I won't announce it until I find one or two mods.

There are a ton of help sections and tutorials...You have to register to see them.

Heheh, you can't really trust other people with tuts, you have to do it yourself to make sure it's good.

Exactly.

You gotta make sure YOU do them.

Which is why I did most of them. That doesn't mean nobody else is open to posting stuff. Its not like I know how to do EVERYTHING. I posted how to make mods for all maps work on an xbox 360 (halo 2), how to do a few basic mods, and how to modify models. Then I had my good friends, D3V1LMAYCRY101 to make texture modding tutorials, and CLK Rebellion to do some halo 3 stuff. The only people who posted tutorials were the ones I really trusted, and they made good ones.

I was GOING to make some video tuts, but I never got around to it. Nobody mods halo games anymore. Thats really the site's biggest problem. As I said, if I ever feel obligated to make it popular again, I'll turn it into a general gaming forum. And I'd change the background to something less-image like. The one that we have now was actually put up as something temporary until I decided to make something more suitable. People gave me positive feedback for it, so I decided that it wasn't necessary to change it. if the forum becomes popular again, I'll redo the banner. The current one was one of my first image edits anyway. The text has a white border, and I guess it is too blocky. But otherwise, I disagree with any problems being presented about my forum.

Wert I am temporarily making you a mod.

Why only temporarily? Because I want to see if I can trust you.

If you prove you can handle it, I'll make you a mod or possibly a tech.

But be weary, if you over-police people I will not be pleased.

I'll do my best!
