Wert - Mod or Tech (Pending)

A) First Name - Nick
B) Position - Moderator
C) I'm not applying for tech, but I do have a zetaboard, (which is supposedly similar), and I made its custom skin all by my self...
D) Reason I think I should have this position - Experience. I have been a moderator for two forums, administrator for another, and owner of my own. I can easily memorize rules, and most laws of the internet. As I'm sure those of you have seen from the banjo forums, I sometimes end up rule policing anyway...even though I try not to. Btw, if I don't become a moderator, there is a decreased chance that I will quickly become an active member of this forum. So I guess thats it.

Hmmmm....Maybe. It has to be a purple pikmin though. They're the only ones fat enough to be klungo-esque.

Great! I do the Klungos while my internet is out and when ts back on I learn it had to be a purple one.

I've made Red, Blue and Yellow. I can also make a purple one (And white, why not!) by tomorrow if you want.

I've decided to modify the topic title to state that I am also running for tech. I figured making a double-post would be better Than making a new topic. Obviously, I'm not getting the position of moderator, so I hope to be accepted into a staff position that fits my secondary set of forum-related skills.

Every part had to be skinned individually. Every box, every menu, every drop-down box. I made custom buttons, custom smilies, custom favicon, custom rank images, etc.

A random forum glitch made my post empty. I had to remove the link for a moment to make the content to show up for some reason. Everything's working now.

I think I know why it wasn't successful.

It's nice, very well layed out and everything, I can tell you put a lot of work into it. The issue is that it's.... not sexy.

The banner wasn't done properly and people don't like too many squares, people like fades not just solid colors.

Also, pick something sleek like red and grey instead of green green and.... green.

Its a zetaboard. All you get is squares lol. And whats wrong with the banner? Its centered, and it required a painful amount of work to get a picture of an albatross like that. I chose green to be unique. EVERY forum is either blue or black. The only calm color that seems underused is green. Now the overall style of the forum was NOT why it failed. It failed because the discussion was too limited. It was nothing but halo modding. That community hardly exists at all now, so the forum is dead. If I start advertising again, and turn it into a gaming forum, I could easily make it even more active than this one!

But that is not the point. Its the fact that I know my way around a forum.

I mean make the banner faded! Make the baby green into regular green! Don't have a picture as a background! When making the banner, make sure the text doesn't look blocky! MORE topics! Make it simple! FADES! FADES! FADES!

That's what you should have done. Sei7eins is almost dead, but at least it has the occasional pass-by, and why? Because it's sexy.

If the above things don't sound good, three things you MUST do.

Change the baby green.

Change the banner.

Remove the ad that is on every single page.

se7ensins wasn't successful because it looked nice! It had a wide variety of topics and was runned by some of the best modders, coders, etc.
And I did have the ad removed until the site became inactive. it costs money to keep it off, and theres no sense paying for something thats currently useless.
