Too Disturbing For School?

OK so we have to do this thing called a personal project. So I'm making a graphic novel. But within the first 7 pages there's already child abuse, stalking, and eventually murder will come into play. Do you guys think it's a little too much for school?

I know a couple teachers who may think it's a bit much, but as long as you don't have too much gore it should be fine
