To keep the forum alive, we need different events!

Here are some ideas:

Halloween!

On the 31st of October, the banner gets changed to pumpkins.
On this day. users change their avatars to spooky things like Vampires or Ghosts. Users also post in Orange.
Also on this day, a contest is held - whoever can create the best Halloween costume! You can name each piece of clothing or photoshop each piece together.
Christmas!

On the 25th of December, the banner changes to a Christmas tree.
On this day, users change their avatars to Christmas things like trees and presents. Users also post in green.
Also on this day, a contest is held - whoever can create the best Christmas story!

easter!

On the 12th of April, the banner changes to a Bunny and some eggs.
On this day, users change their avatars to Easter things like bunnies and eggs. Users also post in... Yellow?
Also on this day, a contest is held - whoever can paint the best egg (Using Paint of Photoshop).


I'll try thinking of more ideas....

I got another idea:

Super Hero Day

On some day in some month that doesn't have a lot of events, the banner changes to super heros.
Members can change there avatars to super heros and write in blue.
There will be a contest for best Super Hero (Costume, Powers and Back Story).

Interesting ideas. Though I think the banners should last longer than just the 1 day of the holiday. For example, have the christmas banner run from the 15th to the 30th?

How about the week of the event?

For Halloween - 28th of October to 4th of November.

I vote we have a music day at the start of every season where anyone who wants to can make a peice of music that represents the season well (or for a holiday in the season), and the banner is changed to something special ^_^

I think that so many people do, that it's either not an issue, or just post a notice somewhere. Like me, I don't do halloween, but I'm still here and have nothing against it.
