Help For My Future

So, when I grow up I wanna be an artist for video games. I was wondering if you guys could help me find a few game companies that are in Canada, so I can start looking for qualifications I would need. So far I know BioWare is in Alberta, EA in Vancouver, any others? Thanks! ^.^

In England we have a service called Connexions, and you just drop in to see them. They will tell you everything. Do you not have a service like that?

Bioware and EA are both great companies (unless you go for EA and get stuck with EA sports *shivers*)

If you wanna stay close to family, you'd wanna check out companies in Vancouver. I'm even thinking of going to 'couver for the summer one year and be a video game tester for EA

That'd be cool. It's more like I wanna stay in Canada, because I can't speak Danish or Swedish and every other country is too aggressive. (No offense guys, just personal opinion)

Testers get paid because game testing is a pretty damned tedious job. However, I deal with tediousness in video games ALL THE TIME so this is no problem

There are a lot of people out there who will also be gunning for a tester job, and they probably have game testing experience. Good luck.

Not as many as you'd think.

Also, my dad has a friend who is quite a businessman. He actually has a friend who is quite high up in the EA ladder and may be able to get me a spot on their testing team.

Activision in Toronto. They are best for the graphics. Bungie has a studio in Vancouver (the guy who I might be working with is there too!) I could ask Lance if he could get the requirements.
