Save your money and keep your Xbox.

In fact, while you're at it buy Xbox Live. Superior online performance and a superior controller make it the most formidable console. And the thing you should REALLY be looking forward to is project Natal! The PS3 will never be able to beat that!

The only reason I could think of getting a PS3 for would be Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid 4 or Blu-Ray. And not only that, PS3's overheat the same if not more than the Xbox 360.

no alex. it only overheats when the warranty ends nah the new slim has no problems so far. tested for a long time. just the old ones get pawnned. the ps3 is for eye candy gameplay. xbox360 is online, i mean, you pay for online so youd expect godly online play. wii just sucks unless u hate online and party alot. again, ps3 has online but its free if u got webz.

PS3 sometimes heats up and temporarily starts working.

After that it works fine, it's weird actually.

Wii is a very good console, it just has crappy games. However the COD4 port to the Wii was an EPIQUE success and I highly recommend picking it up.

I heard the PS3 can't play normal DVD.....
