Hi my name is Noah and I live Southern Texas and down below I will list a few reasons why I would like to be a Moderator 
1. Well to start off, I am a very active user and I'm on these forums usually 4-5 hours a day.
2. I make sure I use correct grammer and spelling.
3. I love to post in different colors and I always make sure people don't get to carried away on going off-topic.
4. I check all of the different sections and make sure people aren't having flame wars and don't fight.
5. Since I always check these forums I will be a very active Mod.
6.I think enfocring the rules is important and if people break them I'll give them a warning.
7.I will listen to what people have to say about things.
8.If any users have questions I will anwser to them

Those are the most commonly used reasons in mod applications. I'd be surprised if they didn't have some similar reasons.

It could actually. I once saw a forum die because there were too many admins and mods. It was kind of ironic.

Like I said on creepypasta the mods bully people =\ and I'm not joking, people have been locked in 1 forum and had their display name change. I had a friend called JVP, the mods renamed him Juggalo Vagina Poet. This seems like a nicer environment when jerks get called out =\

Surprisingly it has been running for a fair while, I did quit once but I went back ( it's based on short horror stories ) so I enjoy it there even though the mods suck
