Naughty or Nice? Empty Re: Naughty or Nice?

Post by SpeedyBlueDude Sat Oct 24, 2009 1:26 pm

Nice and Naughty are mere words. What matters is what one does. Furthermore, the concept of what is nice and what is naughty is based upon human morals, which vary from individual to individual. Even though the majority of people believe that the holocaust was evil, Hitler saw it as a grandly nice thing to do for the world. So far as I know, there is no universal good or universal evil, nor are there words to describe these likely nonexistent things. Nice and naughty are only words to define one's own morals through declaration of whether something is objectionable (naughty) or non-objectionable (nice). People will not do what they consider naughty at the time of action. It's hard-coded into the human brain, and is the principle of human logic on which the golden rule is founded. Regret is caused by a shift in what a person considers nice and naughty. Actions such as theft, murder, and rape are caused by a thinking that only one's own self factors into the deciding of nice and naughty, a way of thinking commonly referred to as selfishness. This is not at all an inherently naughty way of thinking, as naughty differs from person to person. The general idea of nice is something that helps society, such as solving worldly problems like world hunger and disease. Naughty is generally a characteristic given to something that causes damage to society. Selfishness is not inherently naughty, though it tends to harm society, and is often construed as naughty. The inverse applies to all things that are generally labeled as good.

I'm quite done rambling now.

Fair play to you then. This will probably sound stupid but, you could always write a one or two sentence summary at the bottom. People might read that then go on to read the full post :D

Ok short summary, naughty and nice are just words who's meaning are based on your opinion and moral, and have no actual meaning.
