Weird West

A while ago I did an investigation on Weird West, the world dropped from Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts 'N' Bolts. What better way to start the Banjo section than by reposting this investigation.

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts 'N' Bolts has a total of 6 "regions": Town Square , Theater District, Lake Shore, Seaside, Docks and Uptown.

There is a game world for each region except the Seaside:

Town Square - Nutty Acres

Theather District - Log-Box 720

Lake Shore - Banjo-Land

Docks - Jiggosseum

Uptown - Terrarium Of Terror

The Seaside was going to have a game world called "Weird West" (A Beta world which was "Cut For Deadlines"), the "portals" were going to be placed on the boardwalk behind Klungo's Arcade, and the Game Globe Plinth would be placed at the end of the boardwalk closest to the Bingo Palace.

Most game-worlds have 16 to 20 Jiggies and 16 to 17 T.T. Trophies that can be won. The total amount of Jiggies that can be won in this game is 131 and a total of 97 T.T. Trophies. Banjo-Kazooie (Nintendo 64) had a total of 100 Jiggies, Banjo-Tooie (Nintendo 64) had a total of 90 and Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenage had a total of 60. Each game had a solid number of Jiggies except Nuts 'N' bolts, which has a strange total. for every 4 T.T. Trophies you get you earn a Jiggy. But the total amount of T.T. Trophies you can get is 97 - which can not be divided by 4. Making 1 extra Trophy.

However, if Weird West wasn't "Cut For Deadlines", there would be Jiggies and Trophies to be won. Since every world so far had 16 to 20 Jiggies, lets say Weird West had 19 - this would bring the game's total up to 150 (A solid number). However, there would also be Trophies to be won and a Jiggy extra for every 4. If there were 19 Jiggies there would be 19 Trophies, making 4 Jiggies and 3 extra Trophies. But, like I said before, without Weird West there were 97 Trophies.

97 (Trophies without Weird West) + 19 (Trophies from Weird West) = 116 (Total Trophies)

And 116 can be divided by 4. Howerver - There were 24 Jiggies won from the Trophies (Without WW) and now there are 5 more making the game's Jiggy total 155 (With Jiggies from WW) and thats not a solid number. But what if the 5 Trophy-Jiggies didn't leave the game with WW? Where else in the game can you get 5 Jiggies? Jolly.

Jolly sells a total of 5 Jiggies - the WW Trophy-Jiggies. Jolly also has his own Jig-O-Vend at the beach - the WW Jig-O-Vend. So if the Jiggies are still in the game that means they add up to the game's total (131) and the 19 Jiggies from WW made it out, so with WW we would have a good, solid 150 Jiggies.

That pretty much covers the World-Portals, the Plinth, the Jiggies, The Trophies and the Jig-O-Vend - What else is there? Jinjos.

Look at the Jinjo-Bingo board, there are 6 blank Spaces. If WW had been included so would the spaces. 6 spaces = 6 Jinjos. The WW Jinjos. But this is were it gets odd, why would there only be 6 Jinjos? The other worlds had 13 to 15 Jinjos, why would WW have 6? This I don't know.

The other thing that I don't fully understand yet:

The Grunty Challange. What would it be? If you won, what would be you new Trolly-Part? Well, I think the Grunty Challange was moved to the Jiggosseum at the Docks, there were two Grunty-Acts at the Jiggosseum: Who Left the tap On & 9-Ball Nightmare. I belive it was the 9-Ball Nightmare that was the Grunty-Challange from WW. They wouldn't have the same task, but out of Who Left The Tap On? and 9-Ball Nightmare, 9-Ball Nightmare seems the most "Made For Deadlines"
9-Ball Nightmare also could have been the Grunty Challange in Weird West, but rather than destroying balls - destroying inflatable sheep.

Apart from the Jinjos and the Grunty Act, alot of this seems to make sence. Other few thing I found out that make sence include:

The Jiggies needed for the Game Globe:

Nutty Acres - 0

Log-Box 720 - 2

Banjo-Land - 6

Jiggosseum - 12

Terrarium Of Terror - 62

What would the Jiggy-Total have to be for WW? My guess - 30. Why?

0 Nutty Acres
0+2=2 Logbox 720
2+2x2=6 Banjo Land
6+2x2x2=14 Jiggoseum
14+2x2x2x2=30 Weird West
30+2x2x2x2x2=62 Terrarium of Terror

Take out WW and you get:

0 Nutty Acres
0+2=2 Logbox 720
2+2x2=6 Banjo Land
6+2x2x2=14 Jiggoseum
30+2x2x2x2x2=62 Terrarium of Terror

A pretty big gap it you ask me.

Also, if you ask ShowDown Town people near the Seaside they may tell you somethings about WW. even L.O.G says that he could have brought Banjo, Kazooie & Grunty to HoeDown Town - maybe WW?



Anyway, this is all I have found so far, maybe some DLC will bring us WW, who knows?

Talk about the 6 Jinjos

Or wonder why there would be Inflatable sheep in the cut for Deadlines room in Banjo-Land in two acts if the sheep were for WW (If WW wasn't cut for deadlines and the sheep didn't go to the CFD Room, what Jiggy-Challanges would you get in there place?
